How does online feeding therapy work?

Paediatric feeding is a very unique area of clinical practice. With very few multidisciplinary clinics available worldwide, we have many clients who live interstate or overseas receiving support from our team of experienced therapists.

Online therapy is tailored to your child’s individual needs and may consist of:

  • Comprehensive assessment delivered via telehealth

  • Ongoing telehealth intervention

  • Phone consultations

  • Video review of mealtimes & feedback

  • One on one tube weaning program delivered via telehealth from the comfort of your own home

  • Case conferencing with your child’s local therapist to ensure that a collaborative approach to therapy is being provided.

There is a rapidly growing body of research to support the area of feeding therapy delivered online. With many of our clients living in areas without access to a local multidisciplinary feeding clinic, our clinicians are experienced in the successful delivery of feeding therapy via telehealth.

Online feeding therapy is also recommended for clients who participate in our annual tube weaning program in Europe, to ensure outcomes are maintained and built upon using the same team who delivered the tube wean - if required.
